God Made it so I Ate it

At my church, we went through a ten day heathy eating plan that I called “God Made it so I Ate it.” I was trying to encourage the church to be more healthy. I blogged about it along the way. Below is my blog from the last day. I really thought I should share with you what I learned. Enjoy!

Final Day ::: God Made it so I Ate it

Ok, we’re here! We ended the final day of ‘God Made it so I Ate It’ today at my house. We ended it in style! For Valentine’s we had a healthy balanced meal of fish, steak, asparagus, green beans, mushrooms, mexican squash, couscous, and rolls. It was awesome. Here is an overview of what I experienced and/or learned in the last ten days:

Spiritual Fitness

Do you ever stop and think about the date and say something to yourself like ‘Wow, it February 2007?’ In case you haven’t recently, IT’S FEBRUARY ALREADY!

Since it’s February, I want to ask you ‘How’s your workout going?’ But I’m not asking about your physical workout. That’s important, but I want to know how your SPIRITUAL workout is going. You see 1 Timothy 4:8 says ‘For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.’ If we neglect the spiritual workout, our physical workout is in vain.

Get your workout going!
