Here’s a few thoughts I had about the Labor Day weekend we just experienced:

1) The music at church was awesome this weekend. Drew’s doing a great job.

2) Yesterday (Monday), my 11 year old had football practice… On LABOR DAY! I wasn’t too thrilled, but whadya gonna do? Man, I would have stayed in bed all day if I didn’t happen to be a coach.

3) I have REALLY enjoyed the series I have been doing called “Everyone.” I finished on Sunday. It’s been a blast talking to people about inviting their friends to church and telling them about Jesus.

4) Is it Tuesday ALREADY? Now I remember why I like to take my day off on Friday!

My youngest child turned one yesterday. We had a little party at our house with some of our friends. Some were from church. Some think church is a waste of time. Having a party like that was really cool because it allowed all of us to get together and have a great time. Lord, I pray that your love for everyone shown out of my life!
