I did a wedding a few weeks ago. Everything was going great until I turned to page two of my notes. I had printed them when I left my house but I had never checked them. Why would I? Well, I wish I had. When I turned to page two, the notes for page two were not there! They were the notes for page 1 reprinted! Yikes. Quick, what do I do? Thank God, the notes were on my phone. I just whipped out the phone, found the notes, and went on. I spoke about something while all of that was going on. Anyway, it all turned out great. I hope this story encourages someone!

I went up to Goldthwaite, TX this past Sunday after church to see my family and do some deer hunting. Monday morning I bagged a nice 11 pointer. I was pumped about it. For the past 15 years, I have purposely only taken inferior deer off of our place. Our whole family has only taken a few nice deer during that time. In the last few years we have started to see a real payoff from our strategy… more and more big deer. Anyway, I used my grunt call to get this guy to come out. This will be some great eating….
