We all get discouraged because we think we’re in charge of “something.” The Bible, however, says “all things work together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.” I believe we still think “it’s up to us.” We’re just called to do allow Him to live through us and “show up.” Like the Mom who said to her son, “Get up you’re going to be late for church,” but he just turned over and went back to sleep. Finally she said, “For goodness sake, get up and go to church — you’re the pastor!” I think we all feel like that some days, but we still have to show up and leave the rest to the “One” who can really do something!
